FAQ'S
July 1st and November 20.
The University will only offer DS-2019 forms to students.
It will be sent to the University of Arizona Email. The time taken is 10 business days(Excluding weekends & US holidays).
It’s mandatory to carry 1-20 or DS-2019. They should carry a Passport with a valid visa. Also, carry a funding document, visa, and Entry Letter.
Immediately, complete the check-in e-form once you have entered the USA. New Students will receive an email after you have been granted access.
If you arrive in the United States and fail to complete your check-in by the start date listed on your I-20 or DS-2019, there are serious consequences you must be aware of:
UAccess Hold: Your student account will be placed on hold, which means you won’t be able to make any changes to your course registration. This can affect your ability to enroll in classes and stay on track academically.
SEVIS Termination: More critically, your SEVIS record could be terminated under the status of “No Show.” This means you would no longer be legally in F-1 or J-1 status, and you would be required to leave the U.S. immediately to avoid further immigration complications.
