Every year, the Gates Cambridge Scholarship invites 80 brilliant students from around the world. Most of them are international students, outside of the UK.
Your passion for a subject will not be a hurdle. International students can apply for a scholarship in any subject. Scholarship is given to 80 outstanding students worldwide. It’s a fully funded opportunity to pursue a postgraduate degree in any subject at the University of Cambridge.
Among the 80 scholarships, 25 awards are given to US students and 55 to international students.
It doesn’t matter if you are from Asia, Africa, or Europe. The University of Cambridge would be your next destination, and the Gates Foundation Scholarship would fund your education. It’s more than just a scholarship – it’s a gateway to a global community of thinkers, innovators, and change-makers.

Funding
A single student will receive £21,000 for 12 months. Scholars who are involved in research, PhD scholars, will receive the award amount for 4 years.
Students will receive an economy single airfare at the start and end of the course. There will be an allowance if you have dependents – especially children. The Allowances are £11,604. If more than one child, the allowance is £16,548.
