The research in various fields has increased in the past few years. It will achieve Carnegie Classification R1 by 2027. This achievement reflects the hard work put forth by the university. Carnegie classification r1 shows their credibility, and $50 million was spent on research, and the university has produced 70 research doctorates annually. In 2025, only 187 institutes received Carnegie classification R1.
